## About the Role We’re seeking a **Senior UI/UX & Motion Designer** who blends strong product thinking, exceptional visual design, and advanced interaction skills. If you have a strong design foundation and a passion for creating high-quality, engaging digital experiences, you will thrive in this role. ## Core UX and Product Thinking You design with clarity, empathy, and a deep understanding of user needs. - User research, empathy mapping, and understanding user motivations - Wireframes and prototypes (low- and high-fidelity) using Figma or Adobe XD - Information architecture for complex data and interaction flows - Usability testing and iterative improvement - End-to-end journey mapping and flow design ## Modern UI and Visual Design Expertise Your design aesthetic is modern, clean, minimal, and bold. - Strong sense of spacing, balance, typography, and visual hierarchy - Expertise in building scalable design systems and component libraries in Figma - Mastery of layout systems, grids, and alignment - Ability to draw inspiration from leading design platforms and trends (e.g., Dribbble, Awwwards, Mobbin, Framer) - Precision and pixel-perfect attention to detail ## Motion and Interaction Design You bring interfaces to life with dynamic, engaging motion and interactions. - Micro-interactions, hover states, and scroll-based transitions - Advanced animation skills using: - GSAP (GreenSock) - Framer Motion - Lottie (JSON-based animations) - Three.js or WebGL for 3D and immersive experiences - Spline or Rive - Strong understanding of timing, easing, and physics-based animation - Storytelling through movement and interaction - Performance-optimized, smooth animation execution Experience with 3D websites, particle effects, or immersive interactive experiences is a significant advantage. ## Front-End Implementation *Preferred but not mandatory* You understand how interfaces are built and collaborate effectively with front-end teams. - Strong foundations in HTML and CSS (Flexbox, Grid) - Working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) - Familiarity with React or Next.js (or a strong willingness to learn quickly) - Experience with animation libraries such as GSAP, Framer Motion, or Locomotive Scroll - Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or Chakra UI - Ability to design responsively across devices - Comfort working with Git and GitHub ## Collaboration and Communication - Works effectively with developers, product managers, and stakeholders - Provides clear documentation and interaction specifications - Communicates design rationale with confidence and clarity - Thrives in a fast-moving, iterative, startup-like environment - Open to feedback and collaborative improvement ## Bonus Skills *Not required, but a strong advantage* - 3D and interactive design using tools such as Spline, Blender, or WebGL - Creative coding or generative design (e.g., p5.js, shaders) - Motion-driven brand identity and storytelling - Use of AI tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and asset creation - Experience designing award-winning or highly interactive websites ## What We’re Looking For - Strong visual design sensibility paired with product intuition - A motion-first mindset that elevates digital experiences - Ability to simplify complexity through clean, intuitive UX - A deep appreciation for quality, craftsmanship, and innovation - A collaborative team player with high ownership and a willingness to experiment
